ABOUT ME

I'm originally from rural Virginia, lived in Charleston, SC, for 5 years, and I've been in Asheville for 4 years now. I love this town for its character and strong sense of community. You can find the art/culture/music scene of a bigger city with the relaxed attitude of the country. I have the best friends I could ask for, an amazing fiance/best friend, and pretty awesome pets, Boo Radley (cat) and Maya the dog. I've done a bit of traveling, though it's been a while since I've taken a big trip overseas and I'm getting that itch again. I love seeing live music, meeting new people and learning new things. My fiance is currently in two local bands, so we are often out and about on the local music scene.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My fiance and I find great pleasure in entertaining, hosting, cooking for people and playing tour guide so obviously we'd love to host visitors. We'd also love to surf some couches in the future as we love to travel, and are usually fortunate enough to have friends in the places we visit, but are always keeping our eyes open for new and interesting destinations!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple of times now, and it's always been an enjoyable experience making new friends, and finding small-world connections with people. I look forward to hosting and surfing more!
