CURRENT MISSION

I'm traveling around in my gypsy camper van I just bought and currently taking it out on her maiden voyage around the U.S. with my little hairless canine sidekick Suzy.

Where I'll end up, who knows.. My plan is no plans!!

If I request to stay with you I probably won't need a bed as I have brought my own. I'm more looking into meeting locals, finding out the cool secrets spots, having a safe place to park, making you dinner, or buying you a beer and hearing your stories.

and maybe surfing your shower. haha

ABOUT ME

I'm a creator of sorts. Costume Designer, Photographer, Set Designer and Legendary party thrower. I work extremely hard on my art projects for several months with no time off and when I finish and reward myself with travel!

I live in Oakland in a large Victorian with 4 tenants/ friends in a bustling art collective I have started there. I run the art house with my fellow buddy artists whom live there and together we build large scale parties making details sets with well thought out themes. I spend most of my time working on art along side others. I'm in love with making things weather they be big or small. Our large projects require building teams and I've found my calling in finding peoples talents and putting those talents to the test in the hopes of challenging individuals to push their creative limits all while making them feel good about contributing to something bigger then all of us. I get the greatest amount of love from seeing people shine and smile big when they stand proud over the part of project they contributed to.

As far as myself personally, I can be random, silly and fun! but also really calm and intimate. I think I'm a great balance of both. I genuinely like people and like to see them happy and having fun. I love digging into other peoples lives, hearing their stories and I will try just about anything even if it scares me.

I'm colorful in my appearance with hair, clothing and tattoos as I love decorating myself as I do my spaces. But don't let the gypsy punk outer exterior fool you, I own a home, act as landlord and run my own clothing business.

As far as hosting goes, I use workaway and helps A LOT! Because I have so many residents who pay to live at my residence and our home already very active with guests they have requested we don't use our limited space for extra travelers unless they are contributing to our home and projects. As the landlord I have to respect this. If your ever interested in staying with us please message and I can forward you my work exchange information to apply to creating and staying with us. ;)

Like the rest of us here.. I think we can all agree that traveling is not just about seeing the touristy land marks. Its about people.
I'm more interested in going on adventures with locals and making new friends then I am looking at stuffy historical building.

Connection, sharing stories, and creating new ones is what its all about.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing an ancient Temple (not for tourists) in Petra with a Donkey, a Gypsy, a my dearest friend. Best day of my life, and best travel story I have. If your ever so interested I will tell you the story.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a pretty good eye for decorating spaces and people. If you want design ideas or costuming help I'm your girl.

Also can teach you basic belly dance and swing dancing moves.

I bring my camera with me, so if you want your portrait taken I'm always interested in photographing people.

I'm a good cook too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I'm a seasoned hostess, that qualifies me as a empathetic guest.
I'm always willing to give back as I know how much I personally appreciate it when my guests do simple things like do the dishes or take my dog for a walk. I believe in giving back the gift of gratitude with a helping hand to my hosts as my sincere thank you for allowing me into their homes.
