ABOUT ME

ask me anything but in a nutshell born and raised in Mpls. MN but have lived in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. Have grown kids and have spent the last 3 winters in Mexico. I love traveling and hosting people. I currently as of today have 2 friends of a friend here from London staying with me for the week. 9/24/07. I stayed with a friend of mine from London this summer for a week. I met him in Mexico where he stays all winter also and is a great musician there and in London, Amsterdam etc.

I met two women from Minnesota in Mexico last year and became good friends of theres. One of them suggested to me last week that I check out Couchsurfing.com because it seemed to her it would fit me. So I did.

Well I am open to having a guest(s) in my home and would also be open to staying elsewhere in the same fashion. I am open to meeting new people and showing them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none at this site, however since I was a young teen I have traveled the usa and abroad. Be it hopping freight trains, staying with relatives or friends of realtives, hostels etc. I have surfed many couches.

Love to read and do so a lot. Favorite author is Earnest Hemingway. Music tastes very widely, jazz, blues, rock, alternative rock etc.

okay, I am very very familiar with the yucatan peninsula in Quintana Roo Mexico and could easily guide people to many places not on maps and tourist destinations. This is the area where Cancun, Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum mex and south to belize on the carribean coasts. Happy to help folks out heading that way.
