Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Pay it forward or back or something. I've had really great experiences traveling with couch surfing as well as global freeloaders. I love to host once in a while too, but since I'm extremely busy and remodeling my house, I'm a bit finicky so please excuse me : ) Safe and good travels to you.

Interests

i find solace in good books, my dog Tsuga, climbing, backcountry, botanizing, foraging for wild foods, prayer, fly fishing and long conversations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

last month when my dog tsuga stole two eggs from thew chicken coup and held them both, unbroken in her mouth.

when aurora saqui, mayan belizean medicine woman taught me how to communicate with plants.

making a frazzled, idiotic attempt at mountaineering alone in the Washington Cascades and having the mountain goats encircle me as I urinated on the rocks. (They needed the yummy minerals)

What I Can Share with Hosts

So I'm not accepting guests right now since I'm taking on a room mate but I love to help travelers in any way possible, whether you need a ride, a shower, advice, directions, etc. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
