ABOUT ME
I studied Anthropology with an emphasis on evolution, adaptation, and biology, and finished university almost 2 years ago.
I play Balinese Gamelan music, which lead me to travel to Indonesia in June 2007, and my world has opened up so much since then! The last year has been so transformative and unbelievable travelling through mountains, rainforest, deserts, ecofarms, languages and cultures of staggering beauty.
Interests
Music such as: Gamelan, Jazz (Monk, Coltrane, Mingus among others) Tom Waits, Erykah Badu, the Blues, Qawwali; Trekking/Backpacking; good books, Yoga especially Iyengar style, good eatin'(recent foods that have become staples: samosas, sugar cane juice, Balinese jajan, idly); primates (let's talk orangutans), evolution and thinking about why things are the way they are; biking, organic gardening, wandering Indian alleyways looking for magic, and living deeply.
