ABOUT ME

We believe in a simple life where friends, family, travel, food and health are important. We enjoy the outdoors including minimalist bicycle camping and kayak camping. Carol and I strive for a intimate interaction with nature including both it's good (sunshine/warmth) and bad(rain/cold). It makes you appreciate little things like a warm shower and shelter from the cold. I guess we appreciate the duality of life.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we hope to incorporate some bicycle touring with the couch surfing concept. It seems like a great fit. We would also enjoy hosting other fellow travelers at our home

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have done quite a bit of couching and have not had a bad experience. What a great facility to meet exceptional people.

Intereses

we both like to read, bicycle, kayak, hike, camp, sail and play tennis.Actually anything outdoors seems to please. Carol enjoys quilting, and painting. I like to make unusual wines from scratch and furniture as hobbies.
