Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have opened my home and dorm room in college to anyone and everyone that needed a place to stay. Good Karma.

Interests

I am interested in almost anything except sports and extreme athletic endeavors. I like to travel and improve my nature photography. Stan and I both are into taking pictures of flowers and landscapes and would like to travel the world to do so. I have had five art cars and have been in parades since 1999. I have traveled on four art history tours of Europe and took up studying art history rather late in life. I love museums and art.

Music, Movies, and Books

There can't be too many film festivals. We volunteer for every film at SXSW that is held at the Paramount/State theater and during Austin Film Festival. Between the two festivals, I supposed we see at least 45 films. I particularly like independent films as does Stan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is amazing. You get to wake up and choose your day. I choose the coolest stuff I can think of and do it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach intuition classes and hold relationship/dating workshops. I am an intuitive consultant and help people make life decisions on a daily basis. I have been doing this since 1994. www.ask-lois.com.

Stan is a fantastic guitar player and I think he is also a great vocalist. Stan lost his job in Feb '09. Losing his hi-tech job took him down a new path in finding his artistic side. He now is a wood turner. He loves it. ww.pendulumandpenink.com. He now has a job working in sonar equipment.
