ABOUT ME
I'm currently a peace corps volunteer, living and teaching in a Moreni, Romania. When I am not wrangling children I do yoga, listen to music, cook, knit. I love nothing more than travel, meeting new people and, learning about different cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
Don´t take life too seriously.
and
Being optimistic is not naive in the slightest, it is brave.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
my best travel memories involve couchsurfing. I think it is the best way to travel and meet new people and I hope to get more involved when I get back to the city in the next few years.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Traveling is about the people you meet, more than the places you go. couch surfing has allowed me to learn more about the world than I ever would if I traveled without it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of movies, I love movies!
Indie rock, classic rock, Blue grass infused things, Some country, some pop, some hip hop.
I usually perfer non fiction, especially about travelers ex: "Three Cups of Tea" "The Blue Sweater". Anything Oprah Book club approved; "the Help" was another good, recent read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was interviewed on a Romanian talk show in my third language (Romanian), and I survived.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to cook with other people, and learn new recipes and tricks. I like to sing poorly while talented people play the guitar. If you have a guitar we could try that out.
