About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and have a friend in each city...

ABOUT ME

I love to travel, discover new cities, new places, but I also like to show the ones I know. I believe people you meet when you are travelling are like signs, to show tou the way to take. I like to go somewhere, not knowing what I'm going to do and just let it happen.

Apart from travelling, I love theatre and art in general. In museums or in the streets, by professionnals or amateurs, as long as it comes from the haert. Everywhere in the world...
I'm into music a LOT (my brother is a musician) and I love to go out.

PHILOSOPHY

Wherever you are is certainly better then wherever you could be...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelling is based on exchange: the place you go to brings you as much as you bring to it. I hope to find interesting people to exchange with. I will gladly teach anyting I know. I'm not too bad of a cook so I can always do that for anyone who hosts me. Mostly I really believe in traveling as a journey not only of the body but also of the soul...

Haven't been hosting since I moved in with my girlfriend in a very small appartement. But we both miss it (she's on CS too) so when we travel, we still use it sometimes... Anyway we both now as soon as we have a bigger place, we'll be back hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Slept on several friend's couches for 4 moths in Quebec. Wonderful time! Made friends from all of central europe by hosting them and then visited them all in the summer. Hosting someone in your living room is uncomfortable for him and for you, but such an amazing gesture!!!

Interests

Well theatre and art in general. Reading, music (especially Jazz and underground Hip-hop, but also live music in general), photography (I just started) I also do a little bit of percussion.
I have a Loop Station at home, love to create sound with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many of them, changes all the time... better to have a discussion about this :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a cat without a face!

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything I know :-)
Fisrt things that come to mind:
French
Dutch
Cooking some nice meals (not only mussels and fries:-)
Driving (if you have a car or a motorcycle)
etc...

What I Can Share with Hosts

That totally depends on the host...
I will gladly do all the "classics", to me it's normal to at least cook a meal, clean up a little, pay for a drink or bring a nice gift from back home (Belgian Beer is always appreciated).
But it can also be deeper: making a friend, building a relationship,... I always say anyone who hosts me can count on a friend in Brussels whatever that means at the moment you need it...
