About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

ABOUT ME

Currently in Brooklyn experiencing la bellesa de la vida.

Previously lived in the Dominican Republic as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Community Economic Development program. I'm living in a small campo outside of Bayahibe and La Romana called Benerito/Benedicto working with a women's artisan group that makes jewelry out of coco, cuerno and seeds.

I got my first passport when I was 2 yrs old and have been traveling since. Just graduated from Rutgers in May so now I'm working in NYC at an amazing boutique PR people -- which means that I meet up with CSers in NY agency.

I love drinking wine, reading, running, and absorbing the beautiful things around me. All about making sure that I keep myself connected to positive energy through the connections I make along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

We exist through the relationships and interactions we have daily.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, Coffee/drinks and never ending friendship =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience isn't specific to CS, but when I was in Spain I met so many people along the way on my travels that I was able to crash at someones house almost every night, which really helped me out since I was only 18yrs old and didn't really want to spend my money on hotels. It was an awesome experience so when my friend told me about CS I knew that this was something I had to do.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Greece I met a group of travelers and locals that really connected with me. It was like I had known them my entire life. Anyway, they knew of a spot in Athens where the ancient Greeks held their court trials that overlooked all of Athens and had the Parthenon as the backdrop. It was an awesome place to play music, share stories and chill with friends.
