I am currently making the most of my senior year of college.

PHILOSOPHY

At the moment, my method consists of wandering around with open eyes, finding what catches my interest, and diving in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I come with open eyes and ears, and appreciation for people with houses who will take in new people! At the moment I have only a dorm room to call home, so cannot yet contribute on the hosting end.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have many fond memories of having friends stay on my couches, and also of enjoying their hospitality. You get to see the world through someone else's eyes for a bit-- how they live in their town, and why they got there. Likewise, it's always fun to show people your little corner of the world and why it's awesome.

Interests

Traveling is my obsession, and I also love reading, music (though I don't play anymore), the outdoors, running cross country, preparing for a second triathlon, and anything new. Lately I've been taking all science and math classes (a bit rough for a politics major) and thoroughly enjoying it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My commute to work this past summer was through Qalandia checkpoint outside of Ramallah, Palestine. Going through it and those that came after was one of the most dehumanizing experiences of my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything because now I know exactly the kind of world I want to work to change.

Teach, Learn, Share

The things that I can share are a passion for international politics, which I study and follow closely; I have accumulated a few stories from various countries; I am also a very eager listener. I am particularly curious about people who do things I don't know much about-- especially in the sciences, technology, and music.
