Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed many a time with friends, and occassionally with my profile. I've also hosted people where possible.
I like tourist type things but am fairly interested in the daily life of a city... the parks, cafes, people etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed in various locations around western Europe, and took many people on the floor of my old place in Berlin. I've made some great friends through Couch Surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

love music... I play bass and piano myself and listen to bands such as Mew, Joni Mitchell, Radiohead, Deftones, Kashmir, Mos Def, Tom Waits, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, The Roots, Refused, Erykah Badu, Antony & The Johnsons, Andrew Bird and many more! It must have soul! (of some sort).

Books: Some of my favourites include The Unbearable Lightness of Being, 1984, Everything is Illuminated and anything by Haruki Marukami. He's amazing.

Movies: Down by Law, Lost in Translation, anything with Will Farrell, Napoleon Dynamite, Das Leben der Anderen, V for Vendetta, Little Miss Sunshine + many more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know if I can give direct lessons, but can give tips on music, language or just let the conversation take it's own direction.
