ABOUT ME

Hey folks we are (for the most part) Stevie and Owen. We are currently counting down the months, days and hours until we embark on our next o/s expedition. We will be spending 5 months from the 1st of March 2010 back packing through SE Asia on the road to and in search of great adventure and self discovery! Until then we are currently living the 9 to 5 life with as much enthusiasm as we can muster. What helps us through?? Hosting people from all around the world of course! Whether you need a bed a tour or just a hug we've got something for everyone :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My dad has always taught me that nothing should come for free, you don't take something from the world without giving something back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Best couch surfing story is 2 weeks in Berlin sleeping in a hall way in a 3 bedroom apartment with 9 other people and only 1 bathroom. Many beers, many laughs, many lines for the shower.

Intereses

Wow should I do this alphabetically?
Owen is a musician who lives and breathes diving and rock climbing. He is currently studying to be a dive instructor and this trip is now predominatly a diving trip and of course Stevie was roped into doing her Open water Certificate in December :). We are both obsessed with playing pool/billiards/snooker and are always up for a game and a few beers. Stevie being an ex chef is always keen to sample the local delicacies and learn new recipes. As much as we both love the regular "touristy experiences" it's really the hidden treasures we are seeking this time round.

I can teach you basics in the kitchen, Owen is a rock climbing master and we are both keen to learn about new topics and ways of thinking/ living. We like to learn about differnt customs and traditions and we both have on odd urgency to learn sign language.
