ABOUT ME

Just retired and starting out on new adventures. While I am a grandfather I sure don't feel like it. I guess it's true what they say about it being just a number. Just a simple guy that enjoys the simple pleasures of life. Always treat people with respect because it makes life worth living.
Also, I'm restoring a 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe that I've owned since 1969, about time I got around to it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much in the way of meeting people, attending events, being hosted or hosting here because everyone is so much younger than me. But it has been a valuable resource during my travels.
I did attend an event in Siem Reap Cambodia alone, felt very out of step.
And I went to a group meeting with a CouchSurfing friend in Shenzhen China.
Hosted my first CouchSurfer from Guangzhou China over Mothers Day weekend. It was great!
