About Me

ABOUT ME

Pretty quiet.

I enjoy the great outdoors although I'm not a crazy thrill seeker. There is NO better way to spend time than having a good, long chat.

I am a Christian and my faith is completely foundational. Although, I'm honestly not in your face about it, and I'm very respectful and interested in other beliefs or disbeliefs.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe life is a gift. I actually believe God has good plans for me, but they may require quite a bit of effort on my part ;).

Treat everyone as you would expect to be treated and you will discover some amazing people when you least expected it.

Etc. :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I can only meet up with people. I'm in between houses and can't have anyone to stay sadly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ten fantastic days couchsurfing southern Poland in November 2007.

Also a month in Turkey in Jan/Feb 2008.

Every couchsurfing experience has been excellent so I'm wondering why I haven't done some more of it!

Interests

Hiking, road cycling. The pub. Eating! Good films. Reading. History, politics and world affairs (especially the things that actually matter). Beliefs. Anything techy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. Fairly eclectic. I'm always open to a new sound but I can't promise I'll like it straighaway :)

Books: I'd like to read more. But I always feel selfish when I settle down to read a book or watch a film :p. The No. 1 Private Ladies Detective Agency series was wonderful.

I adore travel books --- planning is a huge part of the fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I think the Yorkshire Dales where I grew up is possibly the most beautiful place on earth.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I'm struggling a bit here. I know what I'd like to learn: some basic mechanic skills, anything computing.

I could teach you techy stuff. I can show you lots of cool things in my hometown.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
