ABOUT ME

Myself so far............... Travelling the world with no real objective other than to no longer be bound by the strictures of time, learn things about myself and the world, meet new people, and find myself stranded alone in utterly beautiful elements of nature. I plan on taking what is thrown at me with only a few dates set for an itinerary in terms of flights, but hey they to can be changed.

Music tastes: very far and wide, (I hate this question because when I read over it later I will kick myself for missing things.) So I will just list a few from different eras I guess, The Doors, The Stones, Leonard Cohen, Bob dylan, Tom waits, Nirvana, The Cranberries, Jeff Buckley, Tool, The Presidents Of the USA, Counting crows, The Cure, Pink Floyd, Creadence Clearwater Revival, The Shins, Ben harper, Modest Mouse, The Libertines, Baby Shambles, Dirty Little Pretty things. God screw this there are to many and I kind of lost my era idea, my current listens are, the Black Keys, Spoon, The Kooks and Patrick wolf amongst others.

Books: Another tricky one, but I will just give you a few from my top ten, The Rum Diaries (H.S.Thompson), To Kill a mocking Bird (Harper Lee), On the Road (Jack Kerouac), Hitchikers Guide series ( Douglas Adams), 100 years of solitude ( Gabriel Garcia Marquez). There are just a few I love to read and there are many more. Current read is "Introduction to Existentialism" and just picked up the complete works of poet Arthur Rimbaud.

Films: Fight club, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, Garden State, The Doors, My waking Life, Sin city, 23, Lock stock, Snatch, Bondock Saints. Man it is hard to think, a few I have seen recently that blew my mind were, The Darjeeling LTD, and Into the Wild.

I know its boring to list these things but in the words of Nick Hornby in High fidelity "I know its shallow but F#@K, these things matter"

I also study fine arts, majoring in photography hich is a major hobby and hopefully a career some day, and imagine a philosphy course of some kind will be undertaken.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having to beg for 15 Dollars to get back over the border to the U.S. from Mexico as my American friend had taken our bag with all the money in it through with him, quite the exhilerating and embarrassing experiance at the same time.
