ABOUT ME

I'm Carlos. I did already many things in life.Nowadays I am a teacher. Some years ago I was a Member of the Parliament/Representative in Balearic Islands, but I decided to go to Peru to begin a new adventure. Then I discovered I like to teach and I really need to do music again. I love to create music. You can listen to us in Spotify.
I studied Humanities (Philosophy, History, Art and literature) and I specialized in Philosophy in the Pompeu Fabra University. I've studied a Master on contemporary Philosophy in the University of Granada, and a Master to teach philosophy in highschool.

I love do sport every day ...crossfit, boxing, Body pump.

I sing and play guitar in my own music project called La Nada.

I love to cook and took some cooking courses. Love peruvian, thai, japanese, italian and spanish contemporary and old cuisine. I write sometimes on my facebook account, but also in local and national newspapers.

I've done a thesis about a concept that I called "Dispersion Camp" in wich I treat dispersion as a will of separating every possibility of building an "us" and a "community" through empty entertainment and the abstraction of power in supranational authorities and the independece of Economy. I am really interested in politics and I was part of the political party called Podemos. In Cusco (Peru) I joined "Nuevo Perú".

I like to learn a little big bit of everything. I love music, philosophy, astronomy, I like cinema, comedy, history. I consider myself a good person with good sense of humour. I am pretty positive, even if I think the world is going in the wrong direction.

I offer a mattress...maybe a room. I try to meet the people that comes.
I don't offer my house as a hotel, I consider couchsurfing a whole experience about sharing and meeting interesting and nice people.

I met people who are friends forever through Couchsurfing.

I've been hosted but not that many times.

I like museums that plan exhibitions that are art itself or want to represent an idea: I was in the San Francisco MoMA and nothing made me think, CCCB (Barcelona) Sometimes they have good exhibitions, Berlin Contemporary art museum (I saw a really nice Paul Klee exhibition), etc.

(...) I was playing the guitar since I was 13 and I changed my taste in music many times, I began with metal, but I went throught blues, alternative rock, electronic, folk. -Food: I love to cook. A lot peruvian food, but I always am investigating new things to learn, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Thailandese, Vietnamese, Italian, .
(...)I really admire the revolution of Spanish cuisine, I love the work of Ferràn Adrià, I like High level cuisine. I like Spicy food, and not spicy. My best dishes are arroz chaufa, spanish omelette, thai curry, Pad Thai, different chinese or asian fried rolls, peruvian dishes, pasta, etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Participated in the filming of an amazing tv series and a comedy movie in Peru. The second time that I worked in cinema and they made me "casting director".

Going to the jungle in Peru. Tambopata. And being able to sleep the second night with some pisco sour.

Burning Man 2012. "What the fuck just happened?"

Attending to a Justice and Vitalic Performance the same night at Sonar 2017 (Barcelona)

Felt that I almost died doing rafting (I couldn't get my head out of the water) in Baños, Ecuador.

Went to a colombian pacific music festival in Cali called Petronio Alvarez (Colombia)

Ate the best ceviche in the world in Paracas (a desert near the sea in Perú)

Went to see Cañón del Sumidero in Chiapas (Mexico)

Had a bath in a hot jacuzzi listening to Pink Floyd and having nice drinks in front of the frozen Mississipi River with -11ºC in Minneapolis (USA) with my friend Christie.

Had an amazing new year's party 2017 in Mexico DF

I know a bit about world and spanish politics.

Speaking Spanish, Catalan, English, german(I am forgetting it) and french.

I know about political communication. I can give you a couple of tips.

I know how to play guitar and sing, and DJ a bit so if you want a lesson, I give it to you.

I want to learn more german and french. Also I would like to listen if you have something interesting to explain or in general any adventure! I love PASSIONATE PEOPLE.
