About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the underground ruins of Istanbul.
ABOUT ME
I fall asleep on public transport. I have broken my hand ten times playing hockey. After I began wearing gloves I only broke my hand twice. I have now stopped playing hockey. My brother once told me the apple in McDonald's apple pies is actually potato. I believed him. I woke up once to find a fan burning in my room. I once woke up in a bus depot on a locked bus. I used to play the piano quite well. I have broken my hands ten times playing hockey. I had an evil twin surgically removed from my chest. My brother once told me that wasabi was mashed peas. I believed him. I have run naked across my front lawn carrying a burning fan while a stream of pensioners poured out of the church next door. I have lived in Ireland. I currently live in Turkey. Australia is home. I played lawn bowls once for a laugh. I found out I quite liked it. I have never broken my hand playing lawn bowls.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat yourself right, treat other people right.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I kept hearing about the concept and figured that I had a double bed sitting in a spare room getting bored, so why not offer it up ...
Interests
Playing backgammon or scrabble by the Bosphorous (anywhere will do, but might as well do it in style); playing my piano late at night with the lights off; and chocolate risotto. I'm very interested in chocolate risotto.
