ABOUT ME
Enjoys life on the road and is usually up for a good trip to anywhere. Not one to be stopped by a little adversity. Can appreciate seriously hard work for grand results. Expects the best from himself. Also accepts that when defeated or facing setbacks can figure out how to work toward improvements in order to be happier.
Interests
Adventure sports. Bouldering and surfing specifically. Two activities that became passions recently in the big scheme of things in my life but I absolutely love to partake. I really like figuring out how things work and fixing them or improving them. I enjoy having a project to work on. Gardening. Running. My degree is in forestry and natural resource management. I have really enjoyed working in that field and plan on it once I am employed again. I love to brew beer, a hobby I picked up a couple of months before setting out on this current expedition and plan on taking up again once I have the space. I used to work in an animal shelter. I really love dogs, am sadly allergic to cats. One really rough thing about travels in poorer countries are all the strays. So many emaciated dogs running around wild in the streets and even when one does look approachable you just can't be too safe with them. Its a real bummer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My girlfriend and I spent 6 weeks motorcycling through Vietnam. The moment we reached Ho Chi Minh city successfully and healthy was one of the best moments. We also climbed to the top of a peak called Chachani in Arequipa, Peru over 6000m. That was a pretty awesome feeling.
