ABOUT ME
Stephen is a 33yo Tasmanian.
I'm a 30yo French.
Nina was born early june 2011 and Angèle in August 2014.
Like everybody on CS we are easy-going, open-minded, interested, curious, happy...
We are clean and respectful.
I met Stephen in the middle of my round the world tour. We lived a bit in Tasmania, and now we're in France for a while...
Stephen stopped working as a chef in restaurants to start his own business (check website) from home and grow his own food in a permaculture garden.

PHILOSOPHY
We try to live one day at a time, try not to plan our lives months or years in advance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I do want to host and give back, because I've been hosted better than a queen EVERYTIME. I am not interested in one night stays with no contact between guests and hosts
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted by a lot of people, all different and fascinating in there own special way. For some, I was one in a million, for others I was the fisrt one. But it didn't matter, couchsurfing is ALWAYS A GREAT EXPERIENCE and a wonderful time.
Interests
We like to have fun, meet people, discover new places, learn, teach, share, cook, talk, laugh, listen to music, dance, sing, play, read, do the gardening and some craft things, climb, walk, etc...
We are more countryside and wilderness than city people.

Music, Movies, and Books
A list would be too long!
We listen to a lot of things very different to the other one.
Stephen doesn't read more than magasines and newspapers, I love reading all kinds of books.
We like watching good movies.
I also like art galleries, exhibitions, street performances and any sort of artistic venues.
But we enjoy ourselves playing around in nature more than anything else.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
our daughters
Teach, Learn, Share
Stephen is a kitchen chef, Australian cuisine is based on French cuisine "à la sauce internationale". He is a good surfer and skater. He is a guitar and harmonica player and just started learning how to play the ukulele. He would love to jam with whoever.
I can teach you the three languages I know, and I'm keen on learning others. I can show you how to repare your clothes or make a bag out of an old pair of jeans, or how to cut hair, and all these things you think of when your life fits in a backpack. I'd like to learn portuguese, the violin and salsa among many other things!
What I Can Share with Hosts
At the moment, we can share a piece of our island garden for a tent or our couch, but we are renovating an old water mill and it's not a 4 stars place...
