ABOUT ME

I am Julia, 26 years old. I live in Malmö in the south of Sweden. I study Human Ecology and Sociology at the University in Lund. I also work in an organic food store and with some urban garden projects. Besides my devotion to enviromental issues I also enjoy creative things like knitting and baking. I am childish delighted with turquoise. I like riding bikes, i need to dance... Especially Lindy Hop.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I got introduced to CS through a friend of a friend I have had such great experiences being hosted. Wow! There is so many lovely people around. Now I am happy to be able to host and perhaps spread some of all this good energy I have received during my travels.

Música, películas y libros

M O V I E SAmelie from Montmartre still keep being the best and there is this old Swedsish movie called Äppelkriget wich is brilliant. M U S I CO, so much. Nina Simone and Patti Smith are my heroines. Now since I am hooked on Lindy Hop I am exploring old jazz musicians. I used to listen a lot to reggae and Groundation were my favourites. Cuban music keep making me happy. But I like so much more then that; Otis Redding, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jack Johnson, Fleet Foxes, Eddie Vedder, Brenton Wood, The Knife, Frida Hyvönen, Feist, Cat Power, Beatles, Nick Drake...B O O K SMomo by Michael Ende, The God of Small Things by Arundati Roy

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hard to say. I enjoy the moments when everything just seems clear to me. It can be a stunning view, but might as well just be having a coffee on my balcony or dancing.

I lived in a cave for two weeks.
And another time a kitchen cupboard was my bed room for two weeks.
