ABOUT ME

I was born in Germany in the Palatine forest area close to the French border. My parents immigrated to New Zealand when I was 7 and since then I have become a fully fledged Kiwi. While I still enjoy visiting family and traveling through Europe i have so far found no better place on earth than New Zealand and am proud to call it home.
More recently I finished my masters in Freshwater Ecology at Waikato University and after a year of work for our Department of Conservation, I once again got itchy feet and decided to go on my next trip.
I had a great 5 months in Canada and Alaska and have just completed a whirlwind 3 week tour of Europe with some of my best friends from my Uni years.
Next I am looking forward to slightly quieter times and some detox on a Christmas tree farm in Denmark starting in mid November.
In the Future I have a job offer as a rafting/fishing guide next summer in Alaska and would like to start my own business back in New Zealand doing the same with annual trips back to North America.
I consider myself very relaxed and enjoy meeting new people or catching up with old friends over a few beers and having a laugh.

I have stayed on many couches around the world and met many great people. When I finally settle down with a couch of my own i would love you to come and stay.

Interests

I love the outdoors especially being on or in the water. My main hobbies are Diving, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting and traveling.
I also enjoy playing sports mainly soccer, rugby, tennis and outrigger canoeing.
My friends and family are also very important to me and I like to spend as much time with them as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide range but I dont spend a lot of time indoors. I do like to relax occasionally with a good book or movie or crank a few tunes.
