About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To create a smile on your face
ABOUT ME
I am an avid traveler who's main principle in life is, "it's short, so love it and live it the best you can." I am also a songwriter. Traveling and music are my two strongest passions. I travel as often as possible, and it is my desire to keep traveling for as long as I can. University was a means to supplement my insatiable curiosity about what it is to be human. I love meeting new people and having new experiences. My goal in life is to die smiling.
PHILOSOPHY
it seems that existence is a series of dichotomies, at each point we are given a choice. The more conscious we can be of this choice the easier it is to say, "Yes. I love life. I appreciate the gift of experience."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I am traveling, but it has always been a pleasure of mine to be a host. As always, I am exited to be a guest and to have the opportunity to show people around my neck of the woods. I think CS is a great means for cultural exchange.
i also think that it is key as a guest to contribute. i love cooking and usually try to learn from my hosts, and try to share something new in this arena. i'm also a very compact and tidy traveler. i don't mind staying in squalor, i just try not to contribute to it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So, I have been an avid couchsurfer ever since I first started traveling around the U.S. on my own when I was 16. I have always valued a large and diverse friendship network, and I try visiting my friends everywhere and anywhere, hoping to keep in touch with friends scattered all across this amazing planet we know as home.
i have been surfing with couchsurfing.com for a few years now, and it rocks. i have met so many amazing people since i joined, and i am excited to meet more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
jumped from a plane with a tiny Japanese man strapped to my back; shaken the hand of the Dali Lama; started dance parties in crazy night clubs in Tokyo; gone home to Black Rock City; cried with many of my close friends; and laughed so hard that that there was serious consideration of how dying by laughter wouldn't be such a bad way to go.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn everything, and I would love to teach anything I can.
