Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life until it kills me.
ABOUT ME
I'm currently a student at the University of Minnesota studying astrophysics and physics, but am coming back from a year off exploring and trying other things.
Last year I travelled around the US, Canada, and Europe doing velodrome bicycle racing, and at that point was introduced to CS. It was great to get out of the academic grind for awhile, and I was on a role, so I went with it, travelled south to Chile, and spent 3 months training to be a mountaineering guide with the National Outdoor Leadership School.
Now I'm back in the Twin Cities, riding bikes, reading books, and studying. I don't have any trips planned right now, so drop in and let me travel vicariously with you!
PHILOSOPHY
There are two ways to lose your life: All at once, or day by day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've travelled with homestays often in the past, but just last year did I start formally couch surfing. I've now finally found myself somewhere that I'll be for a while, so I'm opening up my couches to the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Last fall and winter I travelled all around Europe racing my bicycle and sleeping on the couches of some really awesome people.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to ski or work on a bicycle pretty well, and have a good knowledge of physics and mathematics.
I would really like to learn more about language and history in the places I visit.
