About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To soak up life like a sponge...
ABOUT ME
I'm a nice girl from Arkansas who happens to also be from everywhere else. Have patched together a handful of "occupations" from nonprofit/volunteer work, combined with farming (mostly on other people's farms, just now attempting to help start one up from scratch) overlapping with archaeological field work. Much of my work is seasonal so when possible, I hope to travel to places where I can be useful and/or learn more about how others do what they do.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life with courage. I'd like to say I've made an effort to try everything once, with the exception of hard drugs. I believe there is beauty and complexity in all things and all people. I've made a lot of mistakes in life but the ones I regret the most are times I didn't try or do or say something I should have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I am travelling. Hopefully I can meet some new folks on the road, and when I'm back in Colorado I'd love to have surfers at my place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am somewhat new to Couchsurfing, I signed up back in 2007 but haven't had enough opportunity to travel until more recently. Hope to rack up some stories soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading Good Time Girls of the Yukon Gold Rush. I love David Sedaris and seem to read a lot of farming/gardening nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When people who've lost everything still find ways to love and give, pay it forward and not only find happiness but truly care for the happiness of others, I'm amazed. The fact that a seed, given no prompting but water, soil and time, stands the chance of becoming a living, breathing, fruit-bearing organism is amazing, isn't it?
Teach, Learn, Share
The more I learn, the more I know I have yet to learn.
