ABOUT ME

I'm an introvert that loves people and desires to see them fully live. I like reading and studying, am kind of a nerd, but have a good sense of humor about it. I love music, and play a few instruments. I prefer the ocean to the mountains and moderate temperatures to the extremes. Someday I hope to go to Antartica just so I can so I've been. I love eating with people; sharing a table with people is a great joy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No official CS experiences. I'm always thrilled when there's a couch, and not just a floor. I prefer cloth couches that are wider in the seat, firm in the cushion, and smell like fresh laundry.

Interests

People, music, coffee, people, languages, cultures, people, stories, writing, church planting, missions... Discipleship, play music, drink coffee, write, play, build relationships, all that jazz... And I sleep... Not too much though...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated in the 2006 Tomatina in Buñol, Spain (http://www.latomatina.es/), and lived to tell about it.
I also slept in the Morocco desert with the bedouin, riding on a camel. I've never seen so many stars!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in languages. I speak English and Spanish, I'm working on my Catalan, and want to learn French and Arabic as well. I'm interested in dialogue of most any kind, but especially about loving God and neighbor, being a peacemaker, and, more recently, Muslim-Christian dialogue/companionship(www.acommonword.com). "I am a companion to all those who fear you, to all those who keep your precepts" (Ps. 119:63).
