Hi my name is Yuko. I'm a 35 years old female.

I live on Sado island (Niigata prefecture, Japan)with my son who is 5 years old and my parents.

I enjoy cooking healthful meals, gardening to grow fresh veggies(especially greens!), fermentation, taking long walks, reading, doing yoga, dancing, taking a hot bath, shopping, giving and getting massages, etc.

I host whenever I can and surf when traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted about 25 people so far in Sado island Japan.
I have surfed in Canada, China, South Korea and the U.S.
It's been a great experience so far.

Intereses

DIY, homesteading, traveling, reading, gardening, foraging for wild plants and seaweed, composting, earthships, cob construction, WWOOFing, organic food, cooking, health&nutrition, DIY fermentation (I've made sauerkraut, miso, kimchi, amazake, yogurt, tempeh and natto at home), yoga, swimming, riding my bike, walking, hiking, piano, violin, harmonica, anti-consumerism, environment, 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle), Aikido (Japanese martial arts), capoeira (Brazirian martial arts), dancing, massage, canoeing, languages, puzzles, cryptograms, etc.
