ABOUT ME

I prefer barefeet to shoes. Grass and trees over sidewalks and buildings, mountains and oceans over a cityscape. Rocks and boulders rather than a climbing wall. I like hugs much better than handshakes, laughter and smiles not yelling and angry. I prefer dancing and playing over TV and movies, action and activity rather than sedentary. Simple and creative instead of complicated or normal. I choose wrassling and tickling over fighting (and I will rarely turn down a cuddle puddle!). Silly, not serious as often as possible. Real and genuine trumps facades...

and I'm not very good with sitting still. :o)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I LOVE it.... although I sometimes (ahem, often) have trouble planning ahead far enough in advance to make the most of this wonderful community, the times that I have surfed, I've felt entirely comfortable and welcomed and at home with my hosts. Always life-enriching!
The bulk of the hosting I've done was in Boulder when my crrrrazy roommate (who I actually found through CS) invited a constant stream of lovely people into our cozy, crowded home (7 of us in a 3bed, 1 1/2 bath house, plus 2-4 dogs). Our neighbors thought we were running a hotel. Awesome.

Centres d'intérêt

yikes.... friends, family, sharing stories, random, spontaneous, goofy-ness.... people, adventures, sports/games/activities of pretty much any kind (esp. ultimate, snowboarding, hiking, climbing--rocks, trees, mountains, etc.), learning new languages,
baking/cooking/making creative messes in the kitchen, writing letters, coloring, laughing :oD
playing music (even though I'm not so great at it),
eating/living sustainably, supporting local
ooh, and I really want/love to learn/experience farming/growing food/eating off the land!

music--I love live music, jam bands, and stuff I can dance to :o). also a fan of ....well, most anything really.

movies--not so big on this, but my favorite, hands down, is Away We Go.
