ABOUT ME

I'm working for the Biosecurity Department of the Greater Wellington Regional Council in Upper Hutt, just north of Wellington.
I grew up on a farm near Gisborne, and went to boarding school in Napier. I attended university in Wellington, then worked for Greater Wellington for two years before traveling and working overseas for five years.
I enjoy the outdoors, especially new and unusual places. I also enjoy sport, like rugby, cricket, tennis, golf, etc.
Right now I am settling back to my career.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that every living being has a place on this Earth, and us humans should not abuse our power by over exploitation.

While I was travelling, I told people about the couchsurfing experience, and how it is a great way to meet like-minded people in the place they call home.

I have couchsurfed with many different people, in Europe and North America. All of these experiences have been great, and I have met some amazing people.

Helped save the endangered kakapo, by supplementary feeding and nest minding. It only numbers about 120 individuals on Earth.
