About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Never say no....

ABOUT ME

I was a very boring lawyer and now I am on the trip of a lifetime around the world meeting as many cool people and seeing amazing sites. I started out volunteering in Africa, which I thought was an amazing way to travel and now I have discovered couch surfing.....

I am generally a moderately cool chick, I enjoy a beer and I love hearing other peoples stories. I am pretty clean and I make sure I shower once a day.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to make the world a better place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I only just found out about couch surfing and have participated in my first night of couch surfing - but it is an amazing world and I want to spread the word to as many fellow travellers and friends as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed with AdamH in Chicago. I attended the worlds CRAZIEST games night with other CouchSurfers. Outside the program I have hosted fellow travellers and friends on couches, matresses and occasionally floorboards. I couchsurfed a floor of a mud hut in Uganda which was a little chilly.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bob Marley, Powederfinger, Nickelback, The Killers. Shawshank Redemption is the greatest movie ever. Three cups of tea, the Kite Runner, Freakonomics are the best books I've read in the last 6 months and I always try and steal back issues of the economist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met a woman in a waiting room 5 minutes after she had been diagnosed as HIV+, we didn't share english but we shared a hug as she cried. Half an hour later her son's test came back negative and her smile could have lit up the night sky.

Countries I’ve Visited

Kenya, Spain, United States
