ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of a hermit. I travel alone, I read a lot, and take every day as it is. I would describe myself as a 'live for the moment' type of person. I go through periods of depression, but I think after living with it for so long, you start to recognise it and deal with it in your own manner.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have a specific philosophy, but something that I read on a bench in Hampstead Heath in London apeals to me:
I was born tomorrow, Today I live, Yesterday Killed me.

I've had a Frech Couple stay over last year - It was a pleasant evening and I hope to meet up with them this year.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read quite a lot and I'm not going to list all my favourite books, instead here are a few of my favourite writers: Umberto Eco, Terry Pratchett, Stel Pavlou, Bill Bryson, Douglas Adams
Music: I have a gap in my 'music education' and currently I'm going through a phase of catching up on a lot of music genres, trying to decide what I like. I think I'm in my 'angry girl' phase. I listen to a lot of Fiona Apple and Tori Amos.
Movies: so long as the cinematography is something for the eye, with a good story line and some action!
