ABOUT ME

Like most of CS-members we love travelling. Travelling to enjoy nature….travelling to meet people…travelling to enjoy life…and maybe most of al….travelling to realize that there is so much more to explore and to know!
We are open minded en positive people. Love to laugh….and to have good conversations as well.
Since the beginning of 2012 we have a (lovely!) daughter 'Iris'.

PHILOSOPHY

The best way to gain knowledge is through experiences.
The mind is like a parachute: if it's not open, it doesn't work.

Interests

Traveling, painting (Niels) Hiking in nature, cycling, scuba diving, watching movies, eating good food, to hang around with friends.

Movies: Braveheart, Matrix, Lord of the Rings, The story of the weeping camel, Slumdog millionaire, Shrek, Finding Memo
Books: Alchemist, Buddha, The Tibetan book of living and dying, Lord of the Rings, three cups of tea.
Favorite song: it's small world after all. :)
Inspiring people: Dalai Lama, Mandela, Giep van Werven, Mother Amma (the hugging saint of India). And...sounds cliche but we believe that every person we meet has something we can learn from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well....we did a lot of amazing things....most of them without planning beforehand....but to mention a few:
- diving (we saw huge turtles and (small) sharks!)
- trekking around the Himalaya (Annapurna) and sleeping in an Iglo.
- to have (very) close encounters with rhino's, crocodiles, a slot bear, tigers and elephants in parks in Nepal and India.

Teach, Learn, Share

We believe that people can only teach them self. You can only be an example...
But....Niels can teach you how to joggle with only 3 balls : )
