Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To continue working within the healtcare field in Africa
ABOUT ME
I graduated from McGill University with a major in African Studies and anthropology with a focus on healthcare within the context of HIV/AIDS. Prior to this, I worked in the airline industry for many years. My husband Mark is retired McGill university professor in the faculty of environmental sciences, and like me, is a world traveler with a love for people. Spent five months in East Africa in 2008 working in hospitals and clinics and another four months in 2010, and another two in 2012...amazing experience and hope to continue this work.
PHILOSOPHY
Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.
I treat my surfers as I would like to be treated.

Anything that involves history fascinates me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Obtaining a university education...against all odds! Then after graduation, I worked in East Africa for several months. I have since been to both East and South Africa. My husband has been there 13 times!!
Teach, Learn, Share
You are NEVER too old to learn, especially from the experience of others
