COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had amazing experiences. It is beautiful to see mutual aid working on such a large scale and with so few problems.

Interests

I want change in society that results in greater freedom. Freedom from want of food, lack of shelter, and preventable illness, and freeom of access to education. Freedom from work as drudgery. And freedom to express ones joys and desires to their fullest extent, without impingeing on others doing likewise. This last point must apply to the physical world too, as many societies are breeching the carrying capacity of that land which sustains them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well I've spent a good deal of time reading and re-reading "The Lord of the Rings", "The Hobbit" and "The Silmarillion" along with some other of Tolkiens works. I love the attention to detail with regards to the english used.
While in the fantasy/sci-fi realm there is also the amazing Ursula Le Guin whom I love. Her novel "The Dispossed" contains one of the most inspiring and lucid descriptions of a possible anarchist society. She also has written some amazing fantasy novels known as the "Earthsea" series.
