ABOUT ME

Well what can I say, I am 26 and I feel completely lost at this point in my life! I absolutely love films and music, they are both a huge presence in my life! At the moment I have no responsibilities and no ties to anything accept for my dvd collection and my guitar. There was a time when i thought i had a good idea of how people were and how things worked in the world...until I started traveling. I have learned that everyone and everywhere is so amazingly different and has so much to offer...as long as you are willing to take it in. Knowing this seems to have opened a door for me to the whole world...not just the country and the people I have grown up with. I want to experience the most I can in this world and make as many "real relationships" with people as I can. There are just so many possibilities and paths to take...and I am open to all of them!

PHILOSOPHY

Oh man, good question. I ask myself this question all the time...and i think i'm still trying to figure it out. I can say this...I have realized that there is an almost infinate amount of paths one can take in life, and just as many great experiences to be had. An open mind is the key...one can never think they "have it figured out" whatever "it" may be...there is always different ways of looking at it.

At the moment I don't live in a place suitable for guests. Although, I am totally into helping travellers in any other way I can. I am totally open to show someone around the city, talk about whatever, play music, watch films, and pretty much anything I can do to give a little insite to what is is to be here and live the life I live.

Interests

Films! Films! Films! I love film...I love it as an artform. It's one of the few mediums that can give you insite on things which are actually happening in life...weather it be emotions, experiences, or just someones crazy beliefs and ideas.

The Dave Matthews Band! I love a lot of music...but this is without a doubt my favorite band! It's Jazz! It's Rock! It's dark! It's love songs and it's all poetry!

Movies: Cinema Paridiso, The Dreamers, Oldboy, Chunking Express, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Magnolia....i could go on all day, we'll talk more about this later.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent about 6 weeks in the south of france one summer with my girlfriend who at the time was living there. During this time I got an internship at the Cannes Film Festival. As far as film fests go...this is the one to be at! I had the opprotunity to have lunch with that crazy documentarian Micheal Moore, I had a shot of vodka with Woody Allen...and the love of my life and I got to walk the "carpe rouge" to see the world premiere of the Film, City of God. It was the time of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm...what I can offer is a completely unique perspective. It may not be the best one...but it will be honest. I think a lot about things I like in the world weather it be people, art, theater, traveling...and i'm very passionate in what i believe in.
