About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting people while traveling the world

ABOUT ME

Like most couchsurfers, I love to travel with an open mind and meet interesting people along the way. The very first place I ever traveled on my own to was Shanghai and I immediately fell in love with the place. I loved the fast paced city life, the foreign culture, the rich history, the innovative architecture, and the people. After Shanghai, I have become addicted to traveling. A pretty expensive addiction but well worth it!

I love to party, chill, try different types of food, lay out on the beach, work in the lab, ride my bike, watch movies, hike, hang out with friends, meet new people in random places, and of course, TRAVEL :)

I graduated with a B.S. in Biology and am currently continuing my education for a doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD). I have one year left but decided to take a leave and do something different. That is, go to Uganda and do medical research! I will be in Uganda for 7 months and for the rest of the year (off) I will be in San Francisco. After that, I go back to the life of a student. I HOPE to graduate by 2015 (fingers crossed!)

My main objective in life is to see the world, experience different cultures, and meet people from all different backgrounds

The thing about life is that you will always be learning, even when you're not in school. It is important to keep an open perspective on things. Make the most of life, get out there and see the world! Carpe diem!

PHILOSOPHY

Ghandi: "You must be the change you wish to see in the world."

"Never regret the things you've done, regret the things you've never tried."

"Goals are dreams with a deadline."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully when I get my own place, I will be able to host my fellow couchsurfers. Until then, I can only meet for coffee/lunch/dinner

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a few places during my trip to Europe and it was one of the most memorable experiences I had from the whole trip. I was taken back by immense hospitality I received and now I am a couchsurfer for life! :D

I love movies, art, food, history, science, beaches, dancing, drinking and everything else life has to offer. Just have fun with it :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I am a big movie buff. I love almost all types of movies (except for those cheesy horror flicks). My favorite movie: American Beauty

Music: Favorite artist is Jack Johnson. But I like a variety of music, it just depends on my mood

Books: I enjoy reading... the only problem is, it seems like I never have any time! But I would have to see that "Tuesdays with Morrie" is one of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quading on dirt roads through a jungle village in Cambodia to watch a magnificent sunset along the rice patties.
