ABOUT ME

I have just finished my university degree at home in prince george and want to travel before I have to go back and finish the education program. I love to travel and have spent 6 months in Australia and New Zealand years ago; I am currently working my way through eastern Europe. I hope to become an elementary school teacher when I get home in a few months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was in Australia in 2002 I had never heard of couch surfing. I backpacked my way through Australia without really meeting any Australian people. I mostly meet many other travelers at hostels and other tourist areas. This was a great experience, don't get me wrong but i left with a certain sense of emptiness because i had not really meet the people of the country i was visiting. I don't want to make the same mistake on this trip, which is why I feel couch surfing is the best travelers tool ever created.

I have met up with a few people through eastern europe for drink and advice and have found it to be a very positive experience

Interests

I am a sports nut, I like to play lacrosse and hockey as well as hike and enjoy other outdoor activities. I love to travel, it is the greatest thing a person can do in there life.
