ABOUT ME

after travelling for a bit i've kinda decided to chill out for a while. get a haircut, get a real job etc etc.

i work for a wine company based in marlborough, nz. my job is pretty much mucking around with grapevines all day. its not for everyone, but i dig it, and i couldnt handle an office job.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have met some truely exceptional people via couchsurfing, many of which have turned into good friends. from europe to asia, most of my couchsurfings have been awesome.

Interests

music is pretty important to me. i play guitar really badly, but i enjoy it a lot. my CD collection is getting a bit outta hand. i can listen to pretty much anything they dont play on nz or usa radio.
i like wine - drinking it and making it. its got to be one of the better jobs around.

Music, Movies, and Books

when i can, i watch movies like theyre going out of fashion. i draw the line at kak like charlies angels.

music: big fan of hotwatermusic and the draft, also stuff like strike anywhere, misfits, smoke or fire etc. hiphop is growing on me, dj format, dj shadow etc. new zealand music has a sound of its own and will always be some of my favourite stuff.

lately ive been reading quite a bit on nonfiction stuff like john pilger, jared diamond and crap like that. at the end of the day i'll read anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

pretty much anything i havent seen/heard/done before is awesome. im more into buzzy natural landscapes than big messed up cities but i do kinda dig them as well.
