ABOUT ME

I love teaching, and I love working with young people. I like to think they keep me young. I relish new experiences, smart people, great books, good food, intelligent conversation, watching sports, being outdoors, learning, and lots of laughter. I read the Bible each day, for another way of seeking understanding.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just begun my experiences with Couch Surfing. I love the idea of people building a global community by sharing their travels and their homes. I will continue to look for additional ways to participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience will be in January 2008, in Vienna.

I enjoy many authors. I am currently reading Faulkner; rather challenging. I try to keep up with Booker Prize literature and other award-winning literature. I rarely go to movies any more. Too costly and too mediocre.

I like most types of music. I teach high school, so I get to hear all sorts of music!
