About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to explore the Canadian north
ABOUT ME
I love to meet and spend time with new and old friends & family. I also love to be outside & active, to learn new things, to work hard, laugh often and travel... I'm an avid do-it-yourselfer and I love food - cooking it, baking it and eating it (I'm vegetarian). I particularly love local, fresh and organic food & I am a strong supporter of sustainable agriculture. My favourite ways to get around are on xc skis in winter, and by bicycle the rest of the year.
PHILOSOPHY
I am in awe of the beauty and scale of our natural world. I aim to minimize my ecological footprint and take action so that I help to preserve the natural world. Our lives depend on it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I LOVE hosting worldly & local travellers alike! So many wonderful CSers have hosted me and enriched my experiences abroad & I love doing the same for others here in Guelph. However, soon I'll be heading north and hope to surf with some fine folks until I find my own place where I can host again :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Extremely positive! It's really important to me to meet locals wherever I travel. I've met absolutely wonderful people & have learned so much from them! I'll be forever thankful for their kindness and friendship.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many things to choose from... Like the magical aquatic life in the Red Sea!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make yeast bread & fermented foods, like sourdough, sauerkraut, kombucha and ginger beer. I can also show you how to knit.
I love to learn new recipes & I'd love help brushing up on my Spanish. I'd like to learn to crochet and macrame, too.
