Born in Ukraine, grew up in Russia and UK, grew up some more in Zürich, now ended up in Barcelona - discovering the rough magik of physics...

Travelling and meeting new people is one of greatest pleasures this world's got to offer. I hope one day to share a pot of tea with you too, and maybe play some music together?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ten brilliant days couchsurfing in springtime Paris - and then once again in the summertime! A wicked free-wheeling trip to Czech Republic with Oz. A dreamy and surreal Christmas trip to Catalunya with Brigi. Short hot date in Riga with Brigi: cats everywhere! One night in San-Francisco, the home of Poderosa. Greece with Ozzy: divided my life into 'before' and 'after'. Aachen, Barcelona, Zürich - so many more...

Hosting: every person was a revelation.

Music, tea, gliding, open roads, strangers, literature, girls who wear green, Paris, science, abandoned cemeteries, ellipses, languages, pretending to be Bob Dylan, postcards, proverbs, scat singing, saxophones, annoying alliterations, C# minor, looking up photos of unknown bands and trying to identify the drummer, Winnie the Pooh, rooftops...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've once landed my glider on a strictly closed military airfield in UK. You should have seen those guys panic when they learned I'm Russian - turns out the Cold War spirit lives on! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you the beautiful Russian and Ukrainian languages, a bit of ukulele, Russian card games, the 'invisible gnome' joke and how to draw imperfect circles.
