About Me
ABOUT ME
People usually remember me as "a girl who laughs a lot", so I guess I do. I think that life is what you make it to be and I'd like mine to be full of great experiences, a lot of laughter, joy and friendship.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't believe in black and white type of thinking. There's always an other side. Everything bad includes something good, at least hope, if nothing else. I'd like to be able to live my life seeing all colours and shades in it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think couchsurfing is a great way to explore the country and culture. I enjoy accommodating people, but unfortunetely at the moment our appartement is so tiny that I´m not able to do it. I the meantime I´d like to meet couch surfers over a coffee or beer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All experiences were extremely positive! I did couchsurfing a lot in South America and it was amazing experience.
Interests
I've studied music for several years, but now I could sincerely call it just a hobby. I play piano and sing. I enjoy also dancing salsa, jogging, swimming. I used to play in a theater group but now I don't have time for that any more. I like to read a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some movies I like: The Bubble,The Man Who Wasn't There, Abre los ojos, Far From Heaven, Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, La vita è bella, The Pianist, The Magdalene sisters, Carne Tremula (etc. there's many)
Music: Norah Jones, Jamiroquai, Gotan Project, Suzanne Vega, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, Mew, Rao Trio, Audiopharmacy, Nina Simone, Air, Kingston Wall, Giant Robot, some reggae, ska, jazz, folk (etno)plus some classical stuff like Grieg, Chopin, Tsaikovsky, Debussy.
Books: The Unbearable lightness of being by Milan Kundera is one of my favorites. The list is long again (and title in finnish), so I'll live it here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee jumping and parachuting in New Zealand.
Hiking in the Andes.
Paragliding in Colombia.
Riding down the "worlds most dangerous road" by mountainbike and having a huge adrenaline kick.
Making interviews in poor communities in Peru and Paraquay.
Travelling by boat in Amazonas.
Watching the sun set in the jungle.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach some basic salsa dancing (I'm a beginner too) and would be eager to learn other dances also. I'm curious about everything, so anything you're able to teach me, I'm propably up to it.
