About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To trust what makes me happy

ABOUT ME

I am friendly and open-minded. I love meeting new people, experiencing new things, and exploring new places. I got the travel bug when I was young, and I can't seem to shake it. When I'm in a new place, the world feels to me like a beautiful work of art that I get to absorb and admire and just breathe in. It's one of my favorite feelings in the whole world. I hope that I can continue to meet amazing new people along my journey and share wonderful, inspiring, growing experiences together!

PHILOSOPHY

I am all about experience. My ultimate goal is to experience and learn and grow as much as I possibly can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My most recent couch surfing was when I stayed on Orcas Island, off of the coast of Washington, and was welcomed in to the family. Before that I was in Copenhagen, where I stayed with a wonderful couple in their apartment. They showed me the best places for dumpster-diving in the city, and were incredibly welcoming and generous! I hope to continue to make amazing connections and meet incredible new people while I'm traveling or hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed (officially) four times, and had incredible experiences with each one! I've also done lots of unofficial couch surfing-- as a traveler and a host. I love participating in the culture of sharing and hospitality that seems to thrive among us travel-inclined folks. It restores my faith in humanity every time.

Interests

traveling anywhere and everywhere, teaching all sorts of things (hopefully as a career in the future), learning as much as I can, gardening, farming, reading, journaling, collage-ing, dancing, singing gospel music, following the news, drinking coffee, going to breakfast
