I just graduated from college in May, got a scholarship to travel and study concurrently for one year. Hmmm...I'm really sarcastic, so it's difficult for me to fill this in sincerely. Let's see.

Things I like: being outdoors, snowboarding, rock climbing, Marlene Dumas, indie (music and films), Parker Posie, kwaito and house, intelligent converstaion, Vampire Weekend, writing, silly conversation, conservation, wikipedia, food.

Things I don't like: Bush, melodrama, cooked spinach, Crocs (I feel particularly strongly about this one. They're gardening shoes people, come on now!), country.

PHILOSOPHY

Currently under construction. Or is it? Philosophy is a lie. This sentence is a lie. (And all that conceptual jazz.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just signed up. I didn't realize couchsurfing was anything more than a euphemism for taking advantage of your friends' hospitality until a few months ago. Now that I know that there is actually an organized community, I'm excited to begin my couchsurfing adventure. I don't have a couch at the moment. I'm traveling for a year and it won't fit in my backpack. But I'll share my travel towel with you. And when I get back to the US, you can sleep on any of my couches.
