Interests

I don't have any particular PASSION, but I love loads of different things in different ways. I like switching from Shostakovitch to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I like talking with people my age as much as talking with elderly people, who often have so much to say, I love cities but I live in a small town for the moment. I love new and modern art as much as traditional and old stories.
I hate swimming but I love being in water, I hate jogging but I love going on nice long walks, I hate loud music clubs but I love dancing. Ah, and I love ear-plugs too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a great movie fan, whatever new or old (but not big commercial crap), Eisenstein, Jean Renoir, Woody Allen, Spielberg...
I like music from all over the world Europe, Asia, America, Africa, to listen to, to dance on (madly in a club or traditionally in a formal evening), women and men's voices. I play the piano with a chamber music group.
I just started reading, 4 years ago, and am starting to realise how much still exists to be read! I'm into Frank McCourt, Gerald Durrell, Marguerite Duras and Francoise Sagan at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A good friend invited me to spend a week-end in Montréal last October. The people at the immigration office thought we were quite mad to fly over from Europe only for 2 days.
