ABOUT ME

we are a fun-loving, happy pair who enjoys live original music and yummy food (I'm vegetarian, he cooks). we love to travel! I love to drive, take pictures and do computery stuff. he loves to read, and plays guitar/bass/banjo/drums and does sound. we're non-smokers and I'm allergic to cats (& most dogs), as well as mean people and fabric softener. we try to live a natural lifestyle that is earth-friendly and also fun! we have made hula-hoops and travelled with a band, designed and built a few kitchens, eaten at some of the best vegan restaurants in the country, and have traveled up and down both coasts of the USA. we dance around the house, geocache, sprout, make our own nut milks, enjoy farmer's markets, and love spending time together. we prefer things that are natural, clean, not sticky, and don't smell bad. we like fair-trade organic dark chocolate, avocados, & bananas. I enjoy learning about all kinds of stuff and he is currently searching for the perfect cup of coffee.

In addition to couch-surfing informally, numerous times, with friends and family, and while on the road with the band, we've also met so many amazing and cool people by using this site!! We've been so inspired by the consciousness and generosity of humanity! We're looking forward to meeting many more new friends here at home and in our travels across the globe... ✈

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

most days are pretty amazing, from natural ´phenomena´ to personal interactions and life's 'little' awes. Once, we found ourselves engulfed inside a cloud at dusk on the top of a mountain in North Carolina. We enjoyed a fairy-tale view from a castle in southern Spain. We were inspired by the story of the building of Timberline Lodge on Oregon's Mount Hood. I also work with inner-city kids and they show me amazing stuff all the time. We're generally pretty amazed by each other, too.
