About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To love, grow, imagine, live, believe, experience and embrace everyday

ABOUT ME
I'm originally from Atlanta. After high school I moved to Denver, CO, to FL, TX, OK and SC(Charleston). I am currently living in Charlotte, NC. I came here about a year and half ago from Charleston to start my wonderful new career.. I love grilling out and enjoying some beers with friends. I may be able to host every now and then, just depends on my roomy. My roommate is awesome, we are the same age and really get along well. She has a 5 yr old Yorkie and I have a 9 yr old tuxedo cat. We love life and enjoy sharing that love with others.

PHILOSOPHY

Love your life! Love yourself! This is it! Your one big chance at doing something! My choice is to be as cultured as possible! It's a wonderful world and I want to be a part of all of it!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It is a great way to bring people together and to educate one another on the diversities of other cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived on a couple of couches back in my teens. I was always leaving home and traveling around town to random friends houses. But still being in high school it became too tough and I eventually returned home.

Interests

I am a big gamer!! I love playing cards, poker, gin rummy, war, speed, corn hole, disc golf and I will be starting with the Charlotte roller derby girls next month. I also enjoy playing pool. I think I'm pretty good... I am also a great cook. I think that is my true passion. I make a killer salmon with a coconut rice and mango salsa. YUM! I love strangers! They always make great conversation, there are always so many different experiences that people have been through; it is fun to swap stories with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Boonedock Saints, fight club, resevoir dogs, kill bill 1&2, pulp fiction, creepshow, In the mouth of madness (my favorite horror movie!) Predator, 28 weeks later, The Revenant

Music is everything! I have a wide range. Old crow medicine show, Feist, Hall and oates, Widespread panic, the black keys, The White Stripes, Lots of '80's Incluing The Outfield, A-ha, The Cure and soooooooo much more.

When I read I usually read alot of short stories or horror stories. The last book I read was called " The Haunting" by Chuck Palaniuk. It was a trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flipped my car 3 times while driving over 100 mph. I should have died but instead I walked away with minor injuries. I saw my life flash before my eyes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn a second language or help others learn English. Farming has always been a dream of mine too. I'm pretty much open for anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Try to help the travelers in little ways. In addition to them having a free place to crash, I always cook a meal for them. It's cool for visitors to try a local dish and they're saving more $
