I would describe myself as a very open-minded, easy-going person, who likes
- cooking and eating :)
- watching movies,
- listening to good music as well as singing and dancing!
And of course- I love traveling!
After school I worked for 6 months as an Au-Pair near Rome (my favorite city!), that was one of the best experiences I made.
During my studies I traveled to different countries like Czech Republic, Thailand, England, Spain, Italy (Sardegna)...
After my final exams I went to Namibia for 6 months to teach German and English there. I traveled also a lot there and felt in love with that country of contrasts. I definitely like to go there again (maybe for longer!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I registered at Couchsurfing 2007, but since that I never used it except for one time, when I hosted a guy in Regensburg. It was kind of an inconvenient experience for me, so maybe that's the reason why I never tried it again (both- hosting and couchsurfing).
But since I'm living with a girl, that is also a member and hosting a lot of couchsurfers, I recognized, that couchsurfing can be also a good chance to get to know nice and interesting people all over the world!
That's the reason, why I'd like to try couchsurfing again and make my own positive experiences!

Interests

I'm interested in all kinds of music, arts and cultures and meeting different people all over the world.
I love moments like sitting around the fire, playing the guitar or talking about 'God and the world'. And I love to invent stories (as a child I wanted to become a writer!)
At the moment I don't do so much sports except of running, hiking and climbing. I also like dancing (Salsa), but only with a good partner- which is hard to find here in Germany! ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: The last good film, I've seen was 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' (there are so many good actors in it, especially Edward Norton!!!)
My favorite type of music at the moment is folk (Irish, Balkan, Spanish...) and Indie, my favorite artists are James Bay, José Gonzales and Sophie Hunger.
