CURRENT MISSION
Turning our garden into a vegetable heaven
ABOUT ME
Living with my family of four in a house just outside of Copenhagen. I teach rhetoric at The University of Copenhagen, and have established a non-profit project that aims to give young people the courage to speak out loud in public.
Extremely proud of our children, Irene (b. 2018) and Evald (b. 2021) and enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. Am really looking forward to sharing the wonders of travelling with them.
I have had so many wonderful experiences with couch surfing when I was younger, but not much after we had kids - hoping to change that now that they are a little older.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Generally a big music listener, and interested in any kind of music with quality. My preferences so far: Talking Heads; Arcade Fire; Sharon Van Etten, Beyonce, The Raveonettes; Radiohead; Camera Obscura; Antony and the Johnsons; Vampire Weekend; Fever Ray; The Avalanches; Girls; Bruce Springsteen; Dirty Projectors; LCD Soundsystem; Gorillaz (and everything else Damon Albarn has ever touched - he's the biggest); Joanna Newsom; The Tallest Man on Earth; Fela Kuti - Tony Allen - Ali Farka Touré (and many other West African musicians); YACHT; Japandroids; HEALTH; Miguel; James Blake; Destroyer; Kurt Vile, and so on... and the list gets bigger every day!
Movies: A big movie fan as well. Quality comes first, and I must admit that reviewer's choice comes before the average man's. Favorites so far: Lost in Translation, The Wind that Shakes the Barley, Pan's Labyrinth, BABEL, Good Night and Good Luck, American Gangster, The Deer Hunter, Vertigo, Ratatouille, Dogville, La Vie en Rose, Elephant, The White Ribbon, A Single Man, Antichrist, 4 months 3 weeks 2 days, Up, Metropolis, A Prophet... and so on.
I don't read enough books - I sure hope I will one day!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Creating a music festival for all of my friends when I was 18 years old. Located near my house in beautiful surroundings I held a festival for more than 20 bands with great help from my great friends. The most crazy experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you grow your own vegetables, this will be very usefull. If you don't - then don't read.
Your own pee is a great fertilizer. But it's way to strong to use directly. Mix it 1:20 with water and use for any plants you like. It's cheap and environmentally friendly :)
