ABOUT ME

Hi! I am Jacobien a Dutch girl, who've worked in Brazil(local NGO in the amazone) for the last year and a half and is now ready to discover the rest of South America... I hosted a lot of couchsurfers in Santarém/ Brasil ans I just think this system is great! Right now the only house I have got is my backpack so kind of hoping i can stay over sometimes with other couchsurfers. Which is a lovely to meet other people. In the end I think that's what traveling is all about...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been participating by inviting people to stay on our couch, or rather our hammock. Maybe in the future, I'd like to make use of the CouchSurfing network to stay in other places for a couple of days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've been unofficial CouchSurfers for a long time, visiting people all over the world and having people stay in our place. When lucky, the experience can be wonderful. Kindred spirits, weird discussions! Many friends have made use of CouchSurfing, and now we finally decided it's time for officialising. So here we are!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am practicing yoga right now, i am learning to make bracelets, i can teach you snowboarding if there is snow and a mountain :) , and I can make really nice dutch pancakes!
